I fell in love with all forms of performing arts from a young age. After performing in the Australian Production of Billy Elliot the Musical in 2007 - 2009, I continued to study and learn more about Piano, Singing, Musical Theatre, and Tap Dance.

Tom's Performance Studio allows both kids and adults to explore their love of performing arts, in a creative, fun and safe space.

Erin
Singing , Adult Jazz
Brisbane-born and Gold Coast residing, Erin Ritchie is a powerhouse vocalist who completed her Bachelor of Popular Music at the Queensland Conservatorium in 2020.
Erin plays acoustically around the Gold Coast, writes and produces her own music, and has been involved in a few community musical productions since moving to the Gold Coast in 2019.
Her musical influences include a range of artists and bands such as Lana Del Rey, Harry Styles, 5 Seconds of Summer, and The 1975.
Vocally, her influences also include Stevie Nicks, Barbra Streisand and Daniel Johns.
Erin’s teachings focus on the fundamentals of singing, including breath work, whole body support, and techniques to reduce or eliminate strain and produce consistently healthy sounds.
Erin has the experience to guide students in discovering their own unique voice, in whatever style that may be, and to nurture that talent in a healthy and fulfilling way.
Javier
Guitar, Bass
Javier Rodriguez is a skilled guitarist and vocalist hailing from Cordoba, Argentina. Since his teenage years, Javier has been immersed in music, passionately playing the guitar and singing.
His love for music led him to study jazz guitar at Collegium Music Institute, expanding his musical horizons and shaping his unique style.
Javier has been teaching guitar for over a decade, inspiring aspiring musicians to find their own musical voices. In addition to teaching guitar, he actively participates in the Gold Coast music scene, captivating audiences with his soulful performances.
Javier's dedication to music and his ability to connect with listeners through his performances make him a respected figure in the music community.
David
Piano
David Cuervo is Colombian musician, pianist and composer. In 2012 he graduated as a Maestro of Musical Arts with an emphasis in piano from the District University in Bogotá - Colombia.
In 2021 he received a Masters degree of Colombian Music from the “Universidad el Bosque” in Bogotá.
He has devoted the last two decades to teaching music as private teacher and also as a university teacher, in addition to being the accompanying pianist for the Dance faculty of the District University.
Shaeleigha
Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary
Shaeleigha has trained in dance since two years of age performing across all dance genres and completing CSTD exams. She has her Certificate IV in Dance, Certificate III in Fitness and currently undertaking her Diploma of Dance.
Shaeleigha has also worked as a choreographer, children’s entertainment performer and as a dance acrobatic teacher.
She is excited about introducing Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary genres to students at Tom’s Performance Studio.
Anastasia
Singing
Meet Anastasia, passionate singing teacher and dedicated music student in her third and final year of a Bachelor of Contemporary Music at Southern Cross University.
With a natural musical talent honed from a young age, Anastasia grew up surrounded by the world of music, learning the ropes alongside her father, a well-known musician and producer. This upbringing allowed her to gain invaluable experience in the music industry, including performing vocals for various studio projects and live performances.
Anastasia is now excited to share her expertise and love for music with others, offering personalized singing lessons that help students develop their vocal skills and confidence. Whether you're a beginner looking to find your voice or an experienced singer aiming to refine your technique, Anastasia’s lessons are designed to cater to every level. With her blend of academic knowledge and real-world experience, she’s ready to help you hit the right notes and reach your full vocal potential.

Juan Pablo Walteros is a Colombian musician with over 8 years of experience teaching brass instruments.
His classical music background has shaped his technical approach, while his passion for improvisation and connecting with audiences makes him stand out.
He excels in salsa, bringing energy and emotion to every performance, and his versatility allows him to navigate various musical styles.
As a teacher, Juan Pablo Walteros inspires students of all ages to discover their unique musical voice, fostering creativity and passion in his classes.

Juan is a clarinetist, conductor, and dedicated music educator with experience teaching and conducting wind ensembles.
He worked for the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra and has trained musicians of all levels, specializing in woodwind instruction and helping students develop technical proficiency and musical expression.
